We can tune most factory and aftermarket ECUs.  We are authorized dealers for LINK and HALTECH.

How much does a tune cost?

Our tunes start at $1295.  There are extra features that can be added on – see our Tuning page for more info.

Question 3

What should I do before my tuning appointment?

Accepted Answer

The main things that we will check during our pre-tune phase are:
Spark plugs
Fuel level
Oil levels and condition
Smoke test to look for any leaks
If you can check these things and have them sorted before your car arrives for it’s tuning appointment, it can avoid extra charges or diagnostic time.  We are also happy to check these and prepare your car for you before your appointment day – please give us plenty of notice to get you booked in to our workshop.  (Costs apply to these extra services)

Can I watch while you tune my car?

Unfortunately No.  We are an operating workshop and need to follow health and safety processes to keep our team and our customers safe from harm.  The tuning process can take up to a day and our technicians need to be able to focus 100% on your vehicle without interruption.

Question 5

What if my car has problems on the dyno?

Accepted Answer

Cars aren’t always straightforward – but preparation is key!!  To save time and money, check out our pre-dyno checklist for essential tasks to complete before your tuning session.
If we encounter minor issues while your car is on the dyno, we'll contact you to discuss solutions and, if possible, resolve them quickly to keep your session on track. However, if the problem is more serious, we may need to stop the session and recommend repairs before rescheduling.

Terms of Trade

Services Provided:
Coyote Automotive Ltd offers automotive repair & maintenance services and tuning & performance enhancements to motor vehicles.
 
Payment:
Payment is due upon completion of services, unless otherwise agreed upon.
Accepted payment methods include cash, EFTPOS, Afterpay and major credit cards (Surcharges may apply).
Invoices will include a breakdown of services rendered and any applicable taxes.

Costs of Debt Collection:
Any costs incurred in the collection of outstanding debts, including but not limited to legal fees and collection agency charges, are payable by the customer.
 
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Failure to cancel within the specified timeframe may result in a cancellation fee.

Liability:
While Coyote Automotive Ltd strives to provide quality service, we cannot be held liable for any unforeseen damages or complications.
Customers are responsible for informing us of any pre-existing issues with their vehicle.
 
Warranty:
We stand behind our workmanship and offer a 90 day warranty on repairs.
Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse.
 
Governing Law:
These terms of trade are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
